YOGA TEENS for Secondary Schools

Yoga has also been positively received by secondary school pupils. Moving away from the story, or themed session, classes provide more of a focus on traditional yoga postures.

Integrating the breath with movement helps to promote a calm and focussed environment and nearly always overcomes any teenage embarrassment/self imagery.

I have taken yoga into secondary schools not only to boost self esteem and support health and well being projects but also as a means to help alleviate some of the stress and anxiety felt at exam time.
